Univenture Public Company Limited or UV has revealed its business performance for the fiscal year 2021 (from October 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021), reporting total revenue of 3,427.6 million baht.
Mr. Kampol Poonsonnee, Chief Executive Officer of Univenture Public Company Limited, discussed the overall business performance for the fiscal year 2021 (from October 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021), stating that the company achieved total revenue of 3,427.6 million baht, with a net profit attributable to the company of 30.2 million baht. The revenue breakdown includes 1,489.5 million baht from the real estate for sale segment, accounting for 44% of total revenue, 1,380.2 million baht from the zinc oxide business, representing 40% of total revenue, and approximately 557.9 million baht from real estate-related businesses and other income, making up 16% of total revenue. Currently, the company has a backlog of sales awaiting revenue recognition (Backlog) amounting to approximately 3,100 million baht, which will be recognized in 2022-2023.
“This year, the real estate sector has continuously been affected by the COVID-19 situation. However, due to the investment portfolio balancing plan that the company has implemented since 2020 to reduce dependence on revenue from any single business, the company has engaged in a joint investment with Univenture BGP Co., Ltd. or UVBGP, which is currently seeking approval from the shareholders' meeting to acquire all shares of Eastern Cogeneration Co., Ltd. or E-COGEN, the owner of two power plants: SSUT and PPTC,” Mr. Kampol Poonsonnee concluded.
Additionally, Univenture Capital One Co., Ltd. or UVCAP1, a subsidiary within the Univenture group, has acquired a 60% stake in Intercool Development Co., Ltd. or PIC, a leading commercial refrigeration manufacturer in the country, with an investment value of 560 million baht. This will enable the company to immediately and continuously recognize revenue and profits from both businesses,” Mr. Kampol Poonsonnee added at the end.
